Dogs
Dogs on leads are allowed on the following beaches from 1st May to 30th November:

• Smiths Beach
• Colannades
• Cleeland Bight
• Anchorage Beach
• Cowes
• Western Foreshore
• Red Rocks
• Grossard Point
• Reid Bight
• Newhaven
• Woolamai Waters
• Surf Beach

Camping
Camping is not permitted on any public reserves or beaches.   This includes sleeping in cars.  Penalties apply.

Lighting Open Fires
Lighting fires in the open is not permitted anywhere within the shire or on the beaches without permit. Heavy penalties apply.

Alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted in the streets at any time and is not permitted in public places between sunset and sunrise. Penalties apply.
