Dogs
No dogs allowed at any time:
* Cowes Main Beach from Mussel Rocks to Erehwon Point
* Beach from eastern most part of Silverleaves estate to Observation Point
* Penguin Nature Reserve & Cape Woolamai Fauna Reserve (including all surrounding beaches)
* Rhyll inlet, Conservation Hill, Rhyll Swamp
* Oswin Roberts & Ventnor Koala Reserves
No dogs allowed at any time between 1st October & 28th February inclusive. At all other times, dogs must be on a lead:
* Anchorage Beach
* Surf Beach
* Berry’s Beach
* Kitty Miller Bay Beach
No dogs allowed at any time between 10am to 5pm between 25th December & 15th February inclusive. At all other times, dogs must be on a lead:
* Other Northern Beaches except those already mentioned
* Woolamai Safety Beach
* Smiths Beach
On beaches that do not have time restrictions, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Camping
Camping is not permitted on any public reserves or beaches. Penalties apply.
Lighting Open Fires
Lighting of open fires is not permitted anywhere within the shire or on the beaches without permit. Heavy penalties apply.
Alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted in the streets at any time and is not permitted in public places between sunset and sunrise. Penalties apply.
