The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performs for the first time at Phillip Island this February with a beautiful outdoor concert on the lawns of Churchill Island Heritage Farm.

The outdoor concert is set to delight visitors against a backdrop of cottage gardens, heritage buildings and stunning bay views.

Conductor Benjamin Northey will lead the 70 piece orchestra through classics from Rossini, Puccini, Tchaikovsky and more while accompanied by soprano Antoinette Halloran.

During the event guests can treat their taste buds with a pre-booked dining package featuring the fine food and wine of the Gippsland region, including gourmet baguettes, champagne and locally produced chocolate, beef and lamb.

Gates open at 3.30pm
