San Remo Rotary Art & Photographic Show

The 23rd Show will be held in San Remo over the Labour Day long weekend in March 2013.
This is a project of the Rotary Club of Phillip Island & San Remo Inc. and we welcome all Artists and Photographers.

Prize money has increased to well over $10,450. All prizes are non-acquisitive.

First Prize of $2,000, sponsored by our Principal Sponsor, ‘San Remo District, Cowes and Grantville & District Community Bank® Branches’

Prize No 3 of $1,000, the ‘Bass Coast Art Award’, is awarded to the “Best Artist” in the Show and is sponsored by Bass Coast Shire Council,

On our Opening Night the artist will receive an award, a certificate and an exclusive invitation to exhibit in the annual Bass Coast Acquisitive Art Exhibition in September 2013. The winning artist of this Exhibition will be awarded an additional $5,000 for their selected piece. Winning artists of the Bass Coast Art Awards will all receive their prize money at this Exhibition.

The official opening and presentation of awards will take place at the Recreation Centre, San Remo on Friday, 8th March at 7.00pm. A complimentary entry ticket for the opening night will be offered to you on delivery of your exhibits.

For catering purposes, it would be appreciated if you would indicate on the entry form if you are able to attend the opening night. An event not to be missed! Also, the Rotary Club is offering the exhibitor free entry to the Show during the entire weekend.

Please note that the closing date for entries is 15th February 2013, or when entries reach 750; whichever is first, so make sure you have your entries in early.

We are pleased to announce that well known Artist, Ross Paterson will be judging the Art Show and professional photographer, Trevor Foon will be judging the photographic section.

We have a few surprises in store and we anticipate having an even greater Show for 2013!
