Events Introduction
Phillip Island hosts an incredible and diverse array of local, regional, national and international events. Take part in one of the many annual swimming/triathlon or surfing competitions and clinics on the Island. At Easter, enjoy the Churchill Island Festival or attend one of the Farmers Markets held there monthly. Woolamai Horse Racing Club holds their picnic races from November to February each year. Cowes night markets are run on the Esplanade during the summer months. Phillip Island is famous for its adrenalin pumping international motorcycle and car racing events. Motorbike enthusiasts from around the world converge on the Island twice a year to see the big bikes in action on the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit - at the Superbike World Championship and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. For car racing enthusiasts, enjoy the non-stop action of the V8 Supercars, Island Magic, Historic Car and other racing events.
