It’s no secret that the community on Phillip Island is the beneficiary of an enormous array of highly skilled talent, often hidden – ranging from academic disciplines, medical expertise to highly talented artisans and acclaimed artists – we really do punch above our weight.
The Phillip Island Golf Club is lucky enough to be the beneficiary of an exhibition showcasing the skills of three outstanding artists:
David Taylor, recognised as one of the top ten watercolor artists in the world;
Diana Edwards, a prize winning artist who has been painting for over 40 years and
Tommy Tyrrell, well-known water colorist and accomplished local artist, who has been painting for more than 30 years.
Together these three exceptional artists combine their talents in the forthcoming exhibition titled ‘Brush with the Masters’, to be held at the Phillip Island Golf Club commencing Friday March 15 until Sunday March 24 2019, open each day from 10am until 5pm.
These three amazingly talented artists have each donated a magnificent watercolor, all depicting local Phillip Island scenes which will be raffled, with all funds going to support the Phillip Island Golf Club.
The raffle will be drawn at the Golf Club on the closing day, Sunday March 24th at 3pm, and tickets are available at the Golf Club throughout the period of the Exhibition.
The Gala Opening night starts at 6pm on Friday 15 March and will offer finger food and beverages at bar prices.
Phillip Island Golf Club looks forward to welcoming you to this special occasion.
