Back by popular demand, the sessions are a great way to spend a summer afternoon relaxing with friends on our own private island, listening to local music and enjoying Gippsland produce, beautifully presented by the Delaware North team at Churchill Island Café.
A mix of three local musicians have been handpicked for each session they start at 1pm and run through until the sun starts to sink at 8pm.
The waters of Western Port bay will provide a spectacular backdrop to a host of local musicians at each session. The line-up over the six sessions includes Triple J’s Maddy May, Nic Huigs, Dave Prideaux, Bern Carroll, Peter and Nicky Baird, Jorgia Holmes, Dan Lunn and Imogen Price.
Churchill Island Café will offer tapas crafted from Gippsland produce complemented by local beers and wines.
Entry to the sessions is free, but why not make a day of it and enjoy the daily farm activities and explore Churchill Island’s beautiful gardens, National Trust heritage buildings, and working farm and its resident animals?
Churchill Island is part of Phillip Island Nature Parks and also features walking tracks, bay views, and bird watching.
Starting on Sunday 5 January with dates through until 9th February, these sessions are a great way to groove through this summer – see you there.
