Tuesday 2nd January 2018
Walk the Nature Parks- Rhyll Discovery Walk: 10:00am-12:00noon- Come and explore Phillip Island Nature Parks with a ranger and learn more about what makes Rhyll wetlands so special. Location: Conservation Hill carpark, Rhyll. NO bookings required. For info call 03 5951 2826.

Bubbles Not Balloons: 6:30pm- 8:30pm- Balloons are a huge killer of our marine life, catch up with our rangers before the penguins to learn more about how you can help. We will have some fun with bubble making whilst we are there, so join in! Location: Penguin Parade Visitor Centre, find us out front. NO bookings required. For info call 03 5951 2826.

Marine Madness: 10:30am – 12noon – Come and explore the amazing beach finds our rangers have on display.

Phillip Island Nature Parks: Koala Prowl: 9:00pm – 10:00pm- Venture into the night with Phillip Island Nature Parks’ rangers for a close encounter with the creatures of the Koala Conservation Centre. Try to spot koalas, possums, bats and more.

Bugs Bandicoots & Digs: 10:30am – 11:30am- Meet our rangers on Churchill Island to learn more about the amazing Eastern barred bandicoots that now call this area home, and join in on some fun bandicoot and bug craft!

Rockpool Spotlight: 8:30pm- 10:00pm- Come and join us for the after dark action of the rockpools. Delve into the mysterious lives of our rockpool creatures as our rangers enthral you with the incredible diversity and abilities of the animals that live here.

Rockpool Ramble: 10:30am – 11:30am- Explore the secret life of an elephant snail or look at the eating habits of an eleven arm seastar on one of our fascinating rockpool rambles.

Phillip Island Nature Parks’ Education Rangers hold current Working with Children checks or Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. Each ranger is highly skilled in environmental education.

The WEATHER is unpredictable and out of our control. Outdoor activities will be cancelled if it is raining or if too hot, call us on the day for details. PLEASE be prepared, with sunscreen, hat, coat, sensible shoes and a torch for night activities.
