Life’s a Beach

Summer on Phillip Island

Summer is about long beach days and spending as much time as you can in the outdoors! Phillip Island is home to some of Victoria’s most beautiful beaches and scenery, and there are endless opportunities when it comes to water-based activities. Spend the morning learning how to surf, take a dip in one of the many bay beaches or view Phillip Island from a different perspective and take a kayak tour!

We all love a day at the beach. However, the surf can be unpredictable. That’s why lifeguards put up the red and yellow flags to show you the supervised area. For information on beach safety and to learn how to spot a rip click here.

Smiths Beach has always been a family favourite offering rock pools and waves for beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers.
