Winter School Holidays – Before You Visit

Winter School Holidays on Phillip Island

These Winter school holidays are going to be very different from the last. However, there is still a fantastic range of attractions and nature-based activities that are available for everyone to enjoy. From 22 June the number of visitors that you can have to your home has reduced to five visitors. Outdoor gatherings have reduced to a maximum group of ten people. Restaurants, pubs, auction halls, community halls, libraries, museums and places of worship remain at a maximum of 20 people in any one space until 12 July.

While businesses and the community are adjusting to reopening, and implementing protocols, we ask that you please respect each other, remain patient and adhere to the guidelines so that we can all enjoy our happy spaces. Stay safe by maintaining proper hygiene, keeping your distance from others and if you feel unwell stay home.

As most attractions have restricted capacity, and you will need to pre-book a ticket to avoid disappointment. Many attractions, such as the Penguin Parade, are already almost sold out for the school holidays. Please note that not all attractions and businesses may be open, and therefore, we recommend contacting the business directly before visiting.

We also advise booking ahead for a table in a restaurant or café as many restaurants are running on sitting times. This not only guarantees your spot but also takes the stress off businesses managing capacity numbers and cleaning routines.
